Looking at the Alpha Ursae is a film about the work of Andrzej Jórczak (b. 1944 in Warsaw, d. 1981 near Paris) produced by Arton Foundation.

Andrzej Jórczak, artist, photographer, curator, astronomer, in the 70s was one of the key figures of the Polish avant-garde art.

The film Looking for Alpha Ursae produced by the Arton Foundation, is an attempt to find the contemporary side of Andrzej Jórczaks works. The document is based on the statements of people who knew him personally, as well as those who discovered his art recently. Collected interviews allow to look at Jórczaks work from a new perspective and can be a contribution to the deep analysis of his artistic achievements.
