Hidden Heritage.
Digitization and access to art studio collections and educational program
In 2024, the Arton Foundation is implementing the project “Hidden Heritage. Digitization and access to artist studio collections and educational program”. As part of it, we are developing the archives of six artists, including: Andrzej Dudek-Dürer, Anna and Krystyna Jarnuszkiewicz and Janina Węgrzynowska. We are digitizing a variety of archival materials from their art studios and making them available in the Forgotten Heritage online database. By the end of the year there will be nearly 2,500 new scans in it.
The project is accompanied by an educational program in the form of archival workshops, whose participants will have the opportunity to learn about the specifics of working with private archives of artists and female artists, as well as the basic principles of processing and digitizing collections.
We invite you to find out more about the artists, whose materials and artworks we have developed as part of this grant:
