Looking Into the Sun. Hanna Orzechowska - book

A new book prepared by the Studio Gallery team has been published. The publication accompanies the exhibition ‘Looking Into the Sun. Hanna Orzechowska' running at the Studio Gallery from 24 September to 17 November 2024 and is dedicated to the interpretation of Hanna Orzechowska's work. It includes three essays showing Hanna Orzechowska's art and biography from different perspectives. These are: an essay by exhibition curator Luiza Nader ‘Looking into the sun’, a text by the artist's daughter Agata Siecińska ‘She left for me a letter that was rewritten many times and never sent’, and Dorota Jarecka's ‘The sun's neck cut’. The book is lavishly illustrated and all texts are translated into English. The authors of the graphic design are Magdalena Frankowska and Artur Frankowski | Fontarte, the texts were translated by Daniel Malone, the language editing was done by Aleksandra Sekuła.
