Archival Activities Support – Inventory, Conservation and Digitisation of Paweł Kwiek’s Archive
In 2020, the Arton Foundation conducted an inventory of Paweł Kwiek’s entire archive, including works donated to us by the artist in 2018. Photographs, drawings and painting have undergone remedial conservation; ca 300 works have been digitised and are now available in the Forgotten Heritage www.forgottenheritage.eu repository; these have also been transferred to the National Digital Archives. The materials will be used in the publication currently prepared by the Arton Foundation to mark Paweł Kwiek’s 70th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of his creative work.
